Cameron could do himself a bit of good in the public eye by pursuing the Russian interference question. He was after all a remainer. Maybe he'd be worried Putin would strike him off his Christmas card list.

If Starmer was really concerned about Russian interference then he might have apologised for Corbyn’s use of a ‘trade’ document released by Russia during the election. I think Boris hit the nail on the head saying that Starmer‘s real intent was to try and suggest a Russian link to Brexit. Just Politics......
motive isn’t too important to me right now to be honest.
what he’s saying is absolutely correct.
you can deflect all you like but it’s an utter shambles, endangers people in this country and this shower are denying everything.
but then I could be talking about anything in that statement when it comes to this government can’t I?
i honestly don’t see how you can even start to defend them on this.

Sturgeon is on the hook at the moment over Salmon being paid by RT.......

Not really, Salmon is no longer SNP member, and his RT appearances are cause of much debate within the SNP there is no bigger critic than Stewart Hosie intelligence committee member.
Let's face it large parts of Tory party have been beholden to Putins Russia, he played his fiddle and Tory's dance his tune, and it's supporters gobbled it up.

Would personally much prefer Sturgeon to be presiding over this chaos than the shitshow we’re seeing now.

I think if we are being honest we might agree that the Kremlin and Putin would rather have had a Corbyn government in place than the Tories. Corbyn's approach was that of the appeaser who met Hitler, who wanted to scrap the UK nuclear deterrent, to cut back the armed forces, wanted to leave the EU, and was open to breaking up the UK union. Almost reads as following a set of Kremlin objectives.

Not sure how any of that makes any sense whatsoever.

For a start, Putin’s / Russian oligarchical support has consistently gone to one side, the Tories generally and the Brexiteers specifically. He / they has never backed socialists of the Corbyn type, especially given what he was going to do with tax avoidance, so to claim he / they would have preferred Corbyn is fanciful.

Of course Putin might well be doing what he is doing to split the UK up, to leave the EU and to cut the armed forces - the Tories have done all that since 2010. Labour haven’t, and wouldn’t have.

You think it doesn't make sense! Would it make more sense to suggest that Putin and co are either not bothered by western strength, a strong EU, and united Britain? Or maybe that Putin wants a stronger EU and strategically and socially unified UK? If they don't then the glaringly obvious is that they will support any areas that threaten this, as mentioned.

If you think that the Kremlin hasn't got, or are not looking to build a stake in any area of influence in western institutions or those opposed to the west, then I would suggest that you are either a tad naive or possibly biased. This hybrid political warfare is most certainly not employed through funding alone.

A Corbyn government would most certainly have invested in Trident and would probably have been more likely to invest for growth in the armed forces and UK defence capability, 100%
