She is clearly just a useful distraction now. And when the poo poo hits the fan she will be wheeled out and put in political stocks, May had the inappropriate toucher, she kept him by her side for the same reason. And considering the difference in PMs supposed strength, it's odd.

But Bercow is definitely a bully isn't he, despite the fact that you have no proof whatsoever.

And there's me thinking that it was the Tory party making the policies (with May as the then Home secretary) which led to the "hostile atmosphere" of the Windrush scandal, when all along it was the civil servants responsible....silly me!! I'll wager that all her "supporters" are hardline Tories anyway.

And once again, what proof do you have that Bercow is a bully? Do you have actual proof that Bercow is a bully? Or are you falling in behind the Daily Express, Daily Mail, Johnson, Mogg etc? I call the latter.......

Bercow could well have been a bully. However, the very same people e.g. Pete, who have decried him for this, despite it not being proven. Are the very same people, who have tried to excuse Patel, and vilify the bloke who came forward to call her out, as being ‘weak’ and unable to take instruction from ‘bold’ leaders like Priti.

The hypocrisy is stunning.

You articulate this much better than me, although @peteblue still has the chance to prove that he's not a complete bluff by giving us proof of his statement that Bercow is a bully. I have to say, I think he's a total phoney. He may supply the proof, in which case I would apologise to him, but I don't think he will/can. Let's see what he produces.......

The accusations against Bercow seemed to spookily correlate with his refusal to allow the Tory Govt to ride roughshod over our Parliamentary democracy mate. That could well be merely entirely a coincidence though.....

Patel was dismissed by her own for breaking the ministerial code, and this somehow earned her a promotion under Johnson. The accusations against her stem back over 5 years and are across 3 different departments, but weak civil servants or something.

Lets be honest, both Bercow and Patel are probably bullies.
More generally, they both seem to be fairly obnoxious individuals.


This probably explains why they've both been in positions of political power.
 
The Tories failing to get on top of this virus containment.

The first duty of any government is to protect its own population.
