Playing to that gallery for sure, think he has an issue with women in general as well he did an interview on radio earlier that day pontificating about abortion, reckon he is narked his sister is far more successful. However, I just heard an irrelevance privileged man desperate for a platform, most likely narcissistic.
I've just heard this feller on the latest Spiked podcast saying all this "WOKE-ness" makes him fear he may be taken to the gulags.

I am at a loss in 2 ways.

1. What on earth does Mrs Sussex have to with Scummy Tories, shes Merican last time I looked, and

2. I really cant remember Diana Spencer being described as White.
Technically the poster I responded too sounds like some scummy so there's that haha!

In all seriousness though sorry for the wrong thread but that type of nonsense has to be corrected so I replied.

Given that the government have been tight lipped about exactly what they want from negotiations (which is most definitely not so they can present whatever dog's dinner they end up with as a triumph), how on earth can business prepare?

It’s easy. There are obvious options and variations, No Deal, WTO, Full trade, Partial by sector, Single Market etc etc. Any competent business will have all of these planned for. Obviously they want to know which one so as to put their weight behind it, but they should be able to adapt to any......

There is really no scenario where you won't kiss the Tories backside is there? :-)

Perceptive from Suzanne Moore in the Guardian re the Fox outburst:

"What people are saying when they say racism doesn’t exist is that it doesn’t exist for them. Their own identities are weirdly defined by a form of victimhood they profess to hate. So envious are they of oppressed people that they try to claim that they are too, in the name of free speech.

There is now a backlash against women, against gay people, against black people, against the tiniest bit more diversity – and it is a concerted effort. Steve Bannon knows it, and the men who now run Breitbart know it. It moves in high places. We have government by Old Etonians and yet there remains a confusion about who runs the country, who is in the cultural establishment and who counts as a liberal.

These people are the establishment. White privilege and casual sexism is the sea they tend to swim in. Attention-seeking haters such as Katie Hopkins and strangely bitter successes such as Piers Morgan help spawn these posh understudies.

Their side has won, so why are they such losers? Why are their egos so fragile? And why are they so easily rattled if they are only saying what ordinary people think, as they like to suggest?

For that is the shtick, when really what they are doing is insidious. They exist to make those in power appear reasonable as they tear up the social contact.

Fox is but a desperate fool who doesn’t even see his part in the bigger game he plays. Let us not speak of him again. He is not worth even the notoriety."

LOL.

Maybe we wouldn't have Old Etonians in power had Labour not shamelessly adopted identity politics.

Laurence Fox didn't say racism doesn't exist and judging by the interviews he's given, he's far from envious of the proclaimed victimhood mentality of the radical left.

Hopefully this is a cultural turning point. Hopefully 2020 will be the decade were wokeness and identity politics dies. Then parties like Labour will be electable again. Let's hope.
