Not paying into the EU every year. Look at the other countries compared to us.
How many people from here want to leave here and live in France and Germany and see if they can get work there compared to the other way round.
Look at the unemployment rates and benefits system in other EU countries compared to ours.

We pay more in the EU then we get back.

What about when Blair opened the borders for all, homeless soldiers on the streets, people illegally crossing the borders getting free hotels and housing priority.

People coming here use the NHS and then don't pay the bill.
Not all to blame of course but that agitated a lot of people.

Then of course labours momentum a party within a party????
That's what alienated people.

I'm not a fan of Blair but when did he open up the borders??

Did you read that load of tosh on Brietbert?

It's not helping out refugees and people in need as much which is bad. But like I said we need to sort out our own system first before everyone else.

Massive burden on the EU now, they either wrap up trade talks by end of 2020 or end up with no deal and no money

“Labour’s immigration record shows that the initial leap in net migration in 1998 from 48,000 to 140,000 was largely due to factors outside the government’s control. Thereafter, however, there was a deliberate policy of loosening immigration controls in almost every sector – a policy that was not declared in any of the three election manifestos. These policies accounted for two thirds of the 3.6 million net foreign migration under Labour. The other third was due to their decision not to impose transition controls on migrants from the new East European members of the EU – the only aspect of their record on immigration for which they have apologised.”......

Not to worry EU immigration is decreasing ,however, the rest of the world immigration into UK is increasing at its fastest rate since 2003, all is well with the multiculturalism project.

It happened when they expanded the EU (now 28 countries) including a lot of new Eastern European countries from early 2000s. Because UK, Italy, Germany, Holland etc all had similar standards of living, freedom of movement was never an issue. That all changed with the EU expansion when Poland, Bulgaria, Romania etc joined and were then allowed to come in unrestricted. When this initially happened with Poland joining, for example, the UK (Blair) had the option to limit immigration from those countries temporarily for 5 years, yet he did nothing. In fact Blair's right hand man, Mandelson (three times sacked as a cabinet minister), stated unamashamedly that he would delight in 'rubbing' the rights noses in immigration or words to that effect.

Can you imagine the horror of a bunch of Polish people coming to the UK and, you know, integrating into society. In Chicago, where I grew up, we are still suffering the horrors of the Polish community with all their food, labor, and, good citizenry.
