Pete would you like me to post photos of elected DUP representatives actually lighting pires to burn hanging effigies and political posters of their ‘enemies’ or have I made my point?
No problem, just as long as you know that your comment was lacking proper objective substance.I’m not interested or commenting on Irish politics...
seemed more of a liberal than a Tory to me to be honest....sad to hear Rory Stewart is stepping down as an MP.
I wouldn’t agree with his politics, but he seems like a man with values and principles. He said he wouldn’t serve in a Johnson cabinet, which he hasn’t and he has stood by his ante-prorogation stance, when other leadership candidates have put their careers first.
I don't like his voting record, but he was the only one in leadership race who seemed to speak with any sincerity and has followed up on it with this act. To serve under Johnson you have to be a moral vacuum with no scruples so he has done himself justice in avoiding that....sad to hear Rory Stewart is stepping down as an MP.

I find him a bit creepy to be honest.Just had a look at Stewart's record, very grim. At least he likes parks and walking about.

He's not the only one.
They are quite awkward people. They walk strangely. Portillo is a classic.Always thought this about the vast majority of Tory MP's. You wouldn't ask many of them to babysit. Not sure how anyone can actually relate to them as normal people.
