Pillock.....

‘Tory leadership candidate Rory Stewart risks being banned from entering the United States after admitting that he had smoked opium at a wedding party in Iran, the Telegraph can disclose.
Leading lawyers warned that Mr Stewart's confession, in an interview with the Telegraph, raises serious issues about his admissibility into the country.’.......

This is the correct response:

Rory Stewart’s opium usage exposes the madness of British drugs policy

No one in politics thinks Rory Stewart should go to prison for taking opium – yet both major parties’ manifestos say that he should.

There will be more runners and riders than the Grand National for the leadership ......... lol
Rory Stewart will have to have a dope test because he is a dope.....
Cabinet minister for our prisons......my arsp......

It speaks volumes for the state of politics in Britian when Michael Gove isn't the worst candidate in the Tory party leadership race.
Although he's been managing his pr over the last couple of years very well, he'll soon remind us of his real qualities.

The Economist this week had a profile of the Tory membership that will be choosing our next prime minister. Average age was about 55, with 45% of them over 65. They're overwhelmingly white men, with 3/4 supporting a hard Brexit. I mean apart from the obvious caricatures, how utterly absurd.

Didn't a really high proportion also vote for a brexit party rather than Con's in the Euro's?

You'd imagine so, yes. They will choose the leader though, so unless the Tory MPs themselves select the final two from a more centrist perspective, it seems almost inevitable that a rabid Brexiter will be the next prime minister, as that's who the membership are almost certain to choose.

I think it was released with the same group of stat's, and was around 65-85pc iirc mate.

You can only imagine this entire fiasco is causing the bewilderment among the Europeans to reach even higher heights.
It's probably illustrating the weaknesses of our democracy quite well, with the bewilderment belonging to those witnessing a chunk of the population rushing away from fixing it/ actually making it worse because, well, they won.
