I wouldn't gloat yet. I think the Tories will get their core voters back far easier than Labour.

How do they get them back running against a perty to its right? They dont. They'd simply have to become a new party in all but name. That lurch to the extreme right would lose them a lot more Tories as well as win others (and maybe some Labour voters) back.

Labour simply have to wake up and smell the coffee and do the right thing. Yes, it's shut out in Scotland pretty much, but a policy adoption of Remain steals everything from the Lib Dems and Greens. They dont have to turn themselves inside out and become another entity to solve their problem at the polling booth.

Labour can't ever win an election without Scotland. Corbyn has done soo much damage to us it's pathetic.

The brexit core will soon switch back to the Tories. Either a fat right leader or the threat of a left wing government.

I made the point on here ages ago that brexit will destroy the labour party. It has

That's just speculation. Mine is also, but the stats as they sit right now back my projection up rather than yours.

And the Scots want out because of Brexit. Look how well the SNP are doing.

Latest polls have Labour on 300+ seats, short of majority and will need a coalition with either SNP or Green/Plaid/Lib Dem, not great currently but hardly the death of them being the biggest party in the country.

Under FPTP even a good showing from Brexit Party and Lib Dems will damage tories more than Labour and leave Labour as biggest party to form a government

Thing about thatcher last night.
The aussie interviewer was brilliant.
But you get the feeling her cabinet hated her yet she stayed at the top table
Conspiracy theory but was/is some higher group pulling the strings?

Corbyn didn't lose Scotland.

I don't think he'll ever lead Labour to power though.

One minute to five o'clock : ' Right, Northern Powerhouse, anybody got any ideas ?
Five o'clock : 'this'ill do'.

One minute past five o'clock : 'pub ? Trebles all round'.

TBF it is fitting that a train designed as the result of an idiotic request by an incompetent government should end up being used idiotically after it had been retired by an incompetent government.

Call me paranoid or a cynic, I’ve felt for a long time prime ministers/presidents are just the representatives of those who truly dictate how things happen and it’s not the public voter.
