I'm inclined to agree. I think, much like Labour under Starmer, the next Tory PM (which we have to sadly accept is a likely eventuality) is someone with no direct ties to previous cabinets and is probably not even in Parliament yet. Their brand is too toxic and too many of the current names linked to that toxicity, I mean Badenoch is possibly only the membership's favourite because she went after Dr Who publicly, a visible symbol of the BBC "wokery" they're so obsessed with. It's not something a statesperson should be lowering themselves to, but their members seem to want the party to stay in the gutter. In normal times, they'd need a long time out of power to re-shape into something electable, with a whole new cast of faces.
