"Unlike Swinney, Rishi Sunak is nowhere to be seen, and gives the impression that he cannot wait to get out. Meanwhile the party hastens to repeat past errors. It is more exercised by the moving of a portrait of Margaret Thatcher than by the fact that it won only 8% of under-30s’ votes in July."

Whenever Everton gets you down just look at that graph & remember that Maggie’s Tories are dying.

Helps a bit.

Still engrossed in their made up culture wars stuck in the infantile politics of Boris.

Lenders have flagged £1.85 billion of the £46.59 billion of BBLS drawn value as suspected fraud (see Table 3). The data shows that, of the £9.06 billion total settled amount as at 31 March 2024, £1.51 billion has been paid out to lenders against loans with a suspected fraud flag

These bill(ion)s just keep occurring.

Dodgy contracts too.

They basically used it as an opportunity to ransack the state coffers to the benefit of their network. Whilst at the same time endlessly going on about the public sector, those on benefits etc.

All that missing money could be used to heat up pensioners' houses like.

Next contender should be knocked out later today. It would be a shock for it to not be the lost Spice Girl Mel S, but maybe some MPs will collude to wipe a stronger rival out given how even the votes were last week?

Tory Spice is gone. Cleverly didn't gain any backers and the other 3 seemed to get Patel's support fairly evenly. If the Stride MPs all go for Tugendhat (or I guess Cleverly) then it probably squeezes Badenoch out of the final pair.

They’ve got no mandate whatsoever to critique any of the issues the new government is trying to fix, as they result from their 14 year power trip of stripping the ordinary, the weak and the vulnerable of respectful living. They’re a stain on this island, tied to inherited and special interest wealth that must be CRUSHED if we’re ever to have a decent society again.

Enablement.

This is also a second £5million - after he'd been criticised for making 'racist' and 'wrong' statements. tories didn't want to return the first donation and wouldn't rule out accepting this the second one. I wonder why this IT specialist is so generous, has anyone checked if his company sold any services to the government of the time for anything covid related for instance. Did dear frank have any vip lane access? Worth checking for any conflict of interest...
