This new idea is unimaginably cruel. Anyone who’s worked for a large company and has unfortunately had a long term illness will know how callous and cruel they are to their staff over illness usually, and removing the safety net of GPs being able to provide notes is repulsive.

Can’t for the life of me think why we might have more sick people since 2011. It could be a coincidence that the tories started to pull all the funding around key services that help keep people well around that time, and have continued to do so whilst in power.

I think you will come to regret Rayner being targeted in the way she has. As with above, the more Tory scandals that come out, the more the public will wonder why the Police aren't investigating anything Tory end. Thus a further nose dive in the polls for Tories and more votes drift to Labour, which every polls indicates is happening.

Didn't they vote to not change the law for another 15 years. So, the law is still the same now as it was when in the EU?.

The difference now is, the company's are now actively monitoring the CSO's where they weren't before and this is why the discharge figures have jumped up. Going forward into AMP8 the water bills are going to seriously increase to fix this issue.

What people fail to realise is that when the combined storm and sewer system is overwhelmed by rain falling the excess waste water has to go someone otherwise it would back pound into your house. And no one wants that.
