Maybe those requiring benefits and financial support should be looked at to see if there a ways to increase their allowances. A country relying on food banks to feed its less well off is failing in its basic duties.
Benefit caps which include rent is major issue although my area is not as affected like Cheshire or Surrey for now anyway!
Getting people on benefits and timely manner is the issue. Just now dealing with some one whose brother was diagnosed with cancer in May applied for PIP, died in September and got a letter Monday wanting to know if surving brother want to claim that period their poor brother never saw penny of support at 54... Truly appalling as they procrastinated over the evidence. Will pm you redacted letter later as I know some here doubt my work role.
