Yep. Maybe its an age thing, and as one gets to be as old, or older, than most of them, their gravitas is less beguiling. Or more likely, its a rubbish intake.

Taking 3 not so random MPs from the 3 main parties from a while ago, Carrington, John Smith and Paddy Ashdown, say, all 3 are absolutely streets ahead of anyone in the House now.
