I really don't like laura kuenssberg, but by accident or design she's got us to where we needed, by not pushing the money-minded-mone's for specifics about the corruption of law, the genie is out of the bottle with only the players fingerprints on it - hence the scurrying around like rats trying to flee the sinking ship.
