Can anyone remember the last time the government wasn't dealing with some sort of scandal?

I remember the arse-end of the Major years being pretty bad but I'm struggling to even remember with these rats.

Easily the most corrupted, can see why Patterson feels aggrieved such is the scale of the corruption

Mone is eluding Sunak brought in his old hedge fund partner as a consultant whilst he was Chancellor.

Now there are questions over any possible insider trading before the Moderna vaccine contract was awarded by the government...

Sunak-linked hedge fund sees pandemic profits soar to £109m

'The Prime Minister left the company in 2013 in order to pursue his political career. However, he has refused to deny that he will profit from a surge in the share price of vaccine manufacturer Moderna and subsequent profits from Theleme...'

Just can't see Sunak being done. Clear in the COVID inquiry, despite what some Tories have us believe Johnson Hancock Sunak have each backs...

I don't think we've even skimmed the surface of their greed and sleaze. Once they lose the next election you can guarantee they will start climbing over each other to throw others under the bus. Hopefully a few will see jail time. That goes for anyone who voted for them. They should al be in jail.

Companies with no experience were awarded contracts because of who they knew in the Government, while companies expert in the area were ignored.

Thomas Martin was waiting for a call that would never come.

The outbreak of the Covid pandemic had plunged Britain into its gravest crisis in decades and, as the chairman of one of the country's biggest safety wear companies, he knew he could help.

Arco had £44m-worth of personal protective equipment (PPE) sitting in warehouses, including in a vast 220,000sq ft distribution centre which opened just weeks before the UK went into its first Covid lockdown. Mr Martin also knew his firm's long-established supply chain team in Xiamen, China, could quickly secure quality-assured PPE to protect health workers against a deadly and little-known virus...

The much fabled levelling up.

Yeah, this is the type of thing that I hope gets drawn out and highlighted.

It’s pretty obvious that what the government should have done, was say “who are the top 100 companies who have experience and currently provide PPE, and how can we help them scale up their production straight away to meet this new demand”.

Instead, VIP fast lanes, for their mates and people like Mone to set up new companies to take 100s millions to line their pockets.

Bet they all sleep like ‘kin babies as well, the ghouls.
