I assume sunak is gambling on Cameron coming back as giving 'moderate'tories an excuse to vote for them again...
I think it's more a case of they've had that many leadership challenges and reshuffles that there's nobody new to appoint.

Rumour has it sunak tried contacting the ghost of thatcher to ask if she'd take a job, but she said no.

Cameron is a ludicrous appointment, but I really do think an appointed Foreign Secretary is the right way to go - not with a political figure, but instead putting the senior diplomat at the Foreign Office in charge.

Doing that would bring much needed (and long overdue) expertise into the role, it would depoliticize it, encourage long-term thinking and stability and would provide continuity between governments.

Ha ha ha
Last ditch stuff this
Says a lot about the state of politics when the tories are appointing a "more moderate", pig shagging Eton boy to win voters back.

Putin is wasting his time trying to interfere with elections. Most western democracies are doing a far better job of destroying democracy than that vodka swilling swede head ever could.

Cruella will be back to take a run for the leadership before too long - she got her wish to be the martyr for the far right nutters now calling themselves Tories.

Cameron getting his greedy snout back in the pig sty is just laughable, and about as democratic as North Korea.

Shame on them all, and anyone who votes for the criminals.
