You can imagine they wanted to get through 1 more year, then smash Labour over the head with it. Look the schools are falling down on your watch.
If Labour did do anything. Look at them borrowing money, and spending £bn's. If that money was always available, why not give it to (insert thingy here) or above inflation payrise.
I think they got caught here, and are scrambling, but not getting their stories straight. Sunak is gonna have a hell of a time in prime ministers questions.
