Nah, it's no fun when it's this easy

The last time a Labour government took power, they inherited a budget surplus. During a boom period, they turned said surplus into a huge deficit. A deficit that the Conservative Party has tried its best to recover from, and indeed has done a pretty good job, and was close to doing so... and but for Covid, this deficit would probably have been eliminated by now.

The deficit must be eliminated before debt can come down. A lot of people don't know the difference between debt and deficit. That ignorance is taken advantage of by politicians.

I hate saying this, but perhaps, once in a generation, we need a Labour government voted in to remind voters how fiscally irresponsible and useless they really are..

Also, a footnote reminder... the previous Labour governent were Warmongers. Far fewer deaths, war and destruction since Blair was ousted.

I truly couldn’t believe this when I read it. WTF have the Civil Service, the H&S , the Local Councils and the dept for Education been doing all through the bleeding summer when the kids were on holidays. Someone, or several need a serious arse kicking and sacking over this. I just cannot get my head around why nothing has been done…..

You don’t vote for the PM though, you vote for the party and they choose a leader.
This whole unelected thing was embarrassing when it was used against Brown and is embarrassing when used against Sunak. No one cares as long as it’s someone they like.
