The Americans in particular had all their pensions in 401(K) which obviously you’ve never heard of, just ordinary engineers and manufacturing employees, who lost everything. Over 80,000 suffered as a result, but you don’t care do you. No, you are just a Labour poodle, with no understanding of the lives within a very large business. The Trussell Trust, the organisation that runs around two thirds of the food banks in the UK, went from giving out 61,468 food parcels in 2010/11, the first year of David Cameron’s government, to 2.54 million in 2020/21. Poverty is at a record high, affecting 14.5 million people—a rise of 1.5 million people since 2010/11.

You live in a little world and have no experience of real life. Until you have had to tell people they no longer have a job, you never will. Not picking a fight here … but there’s more in-work poverty and food bank users today than there’s ever been, quite disheartening for a supposedly economically rich country, a sad indignment on this current government to be honest

It’s a disgrace, we spend an absolute fortune on ‘overseas aid’ so that India can put a rocket on the moon, and now we are throwing students out of university halls of residence so that hundreds of illegal immigrants can be put up instead. Yes we are a lovely welcoming people but there comes a time when we should be saying hold on what about our own…….

Overseas aid is as you know a necessity to grease the wheels of economy… a kind of front if you will fit political good will, trade and commerce. The immigration situation is something we will never agree on as I don’t believe in treating human beings as lesser individuals based on the country of their birth.
