Welcome back Wayne
That‘s a tired reply, but seriously does anyone know why these gowns and ppe equipment were deemed unusable……
If they were usable, they would have been used. Unprotected NHS staff would have preferred it that way? That‘s a tired reply, but seriously does anyone know why these gowns and ppe equipment were deemed unusable……
It is disgusting if true, and it looks like we were ripped off. Notwithstanding the shambles of the contracting however, I’ve never read exactly why these gowns were of no use. What technical deficiency stopped them. I know you will say whataboutery but have you ever seen the reason why they couldn’t be used….,

To do with authenticity of the safety certificate. Didn't meet necessary standards clearly so sterility could not be assured seemingly.
Forget for a moment they're Tory peers, it's just opportunism and incompetence all round. Wouldn't be surprised to see certain Labour peers use their influence either, or try to. Certainly under the Blair govt.
The whole system is rotten.

Silly Cow has just managed to undermine the entire British education system, and suggested educational aspiration is a waste of time! What an absolute smack in the face to all the students and teachers who have worked so hard! More fool them I guess! This was one of the most uncaring, thoughtless, and plain dumb things I've heard a department secretary say.
While it might be true on the face of it, it's entirely moot. These children are taking A-levels in order to access university courses which they hope will lead them to their desired career. Thanks to her government's decisions, they may no longer be able to, and feel like their dreams have been shattered, and their hard work for nothing, however true or not that may be in the long run.
Silly cow.
Shameless, ain't she?

FewerI mean she's right in a way but in the narrowest possible sense.
When I'm recruiting people the only thing I look for is their professional qualification.
However to get there you have to have adequate GCSEs and A levels to progress and get on the University course.
Qualifications mean options.
The less qualifications you have the more doors are shut on your career options.
Most people don't know what they want to do at A level age, I know I didn't. Having qualifications means you don't have to do what I did and go back to college because you didn't realise the value of education and messed around first time.
