The PPE & Covid government contracts have been one the biggest scandals in living history. Billons squandered to Tory chums and donors. The High Court already deemed the VIP Lane as unlawful but, no consequences or forensic inquiry. Currently those in charge are complicit so, no incentive to investigate. So, Starmer when in power should instigate a robust judge led inquiry and thus she wont be the only professional Tory leaving the UK.
This would you be huge news, headline news if it were any other party of Government and its lack of coverage shows how corrupt and complicit much of our news media is.

I've said it before but I remember reading as a child stories of profiteering and hoarding during WW2 and as being not completely yet jaded by life being appalled by people's greed while countless innocents needlessly died.

Slightly different circumstances but it appears human nature has not changed. It's sad but anger is what's needed not sadness.

Things need to change, people need to be held to account.

I'm not bound by political parties, I'm bound by a moral compass and a sense of fairness.

We need a change, I don't see any party delivering that, only least worst options. I hope someone will come along worth voting for but is the system and populism making this increasingly unlikely?

I have no idea. I want someone I can stand behind and think this person only thinks of the country and not themselves. Is that thinking out of date? Did it ever even exist?

I think it did. Thatcher, for all her faults, wasnt in it for her. Nor Major, nor John Smith, (Best PM we never had imo). Brown, whilst flawed imo, neither.

I am like you, no affinity to any "ism". To me, its the man in the mirror thing. I am far from perfect, but I know I am honest, loyal, and cannot be bought. Being a slave to money ( not working, but spiving), makes you just that. A slave.

I'll admit to being surprised at just how awful an individual Sunak has turned out to be.

I knew he'd be bad (Tory) but I didn't envisage he'd be no better than Johnson. Some may argue he's actually worse.

Another of the many Conservative contradictions; they want to preach authority and responsibility, but they put a weak little man in charge of our Party, with no morals, no backbone and no integrity...

He is absolutely played by the 20 or so ERG loons, and the impression that stuff like "Stop the Boats" appeals to normal folk that dont live on the South coast. I honestly cant care less that his wife is rich, or he made a few bob investing in drug companies 7 years before covid.

No backbone. A ferret.

I hope this is an accidental slip.
