It's just proper odd, turnips are not even in season the example should be Brussels sprouts, what a lovely base that will make for curries fish dishes and pasta dishes. I suppose the seasonal eating is something to consider within environmental issues, however, this is a party of government that champions it's food trade deals with Australia and New Zealand...
Logic and consistency not required.

This bunch of thieves relying on such and admitting it? Not bloody likely...

Another Brexit win.... for Europe.

It’s not a ‘win’ for anybody. The U.K. loses the tomatoes, the EU loses the U.K. trade, eu consumers will get a short term price reduction but then producers will produce less to get the price back up. Politicians & Bureaucrats 1- Consumers & Producers 0…….just fix the process………

The process was fine until the Brexiteers took a wrecking ball to it.

Another 50 years everything will even up , the leave camp repeatedly warned us it would take 50 years and there would be food shortages, huge damage to the economy, visas required for Europe , reintroduction of roaming charges not to mention the furore around the protocol etc . It’s not like any of this is a surprise, everyone voting for it knew exactly what the future held .
