Just seen that Mcalpine. . A huge tory financial backer.... have won the contract to repair big Ben. ... and now the cost has doubled to 61 million. .. coincidence ??

...funny watching the BBC Daily Politics show direct from the Tory Party Conference. Jo Coburn is interviewing people in the reception areas and the people milling around are generally white middle aged men in grey suits. Suddenly 4 young people are seen to stand in camera shot, clearly somebody has told them to do so.

Absolute garbage and you know it.....why do you keep peddling this lie time after time? You really don't give a toss about anyone else do you? It was the global financial collapse(ie BANKERS' GREED) which was then used by the tories to implement their ideological austerity policies under the guise of "we're all in it together" mantra. What utter crap you spout - how has the economy been "rebuilt" over the last 7 years when the NHS is being deliberately undermined and sold off, cuts made in police, fire service, etc. Zero hours contracts, the so called "gig economy" The list goes on. We have to borrow and spend in order to fix the damaged infrastructure we now have in this country which is supposed to be the 6th richest in the world.....perhaps the tax dodging fraudulent millionaires and companies should be brought to account but that's "impinging on individuals' rights" isn't it? I'm alright Jack and sod off everyone else....FFS !!
