To be fair though, that's a correlation/causation thing isn't it? They may have done so, but that doesn't mean it's a direct result of Tory policies.

That scum should be barred from ever entering any sort of politics again. People's views on Brexit should be irrelevant on this, Remain or Leave. This fool needlesly called the referendum without any plan going forward then left his party and country in the lurch and others to clean up his mess. He should be taking far more stick then he has, the slippery snake.

I wouldn't doubt that at all, and it's a shocking dereliction of duty from the government to hold a referendum without having a modicum of planning in place for both potential outcomes. It still baffles me how those who actually campaigned to leave are let off scott free for having absolutely no ideas about it either, especially those who did so whilst actively working in government so party to all the information the government had at their disposal. People like Johnson, Davis and Fox have been little short of embarrassing.
