We need a choice. At this very moment there’s no choice, Labour would win and the country would continue to be a basket case. The Tories need to regroup, provide some form of sensible government and at least provide a choice….

How do you know that you absolutely don't. Your party has had 13 years in power and have practically destroyed the country we are a laughing stock around the world. Have you no shame ? Admit you're wrong, what was the Tory answer to this devastation yes that is right make the rich, richer, take away the protection of a 2 year help with their bills, in flict on them higher mortgage rates, put you're shopping bills right up. This is a Conservative party that don't care about anything but their own preservation, shame on you Pete, you will never change.

The recession, the black outs, the energy crisis, the bending the knee to Big Oil, the plunging pound, thousands dying due to poverty and COVID cos of poor leadership.

I agree with everything you say except this part, this policy alone was unfunded and could have cost the country billions, supporting some of the rich and their big houses. It’s right to scrap it, instead the focus needs to be on what comes after the next six months - I hope it’s a scheme which is targeted on those most at need and not including the highest rate tax payers.

My guess is that she will will take over, few enemies, good at the dispatch box, military training, doesn’t flap, good communication skills and knows what she wants to do…she will be fine…….

You missed out- the spiralling mortgage costs, the contraction in the economy, the 12 years of low growth, the pensions funds becoming insolvent and facing margin calls all at the same time as spiralling inflation costs.

With this lot, the economy is wrecked. We have high inflation and contractions. I never thought that was even possible.
