The former, easily. The Blair / Brown years were often contradictory (deregulating many industries and trying to ameliorate inequalities were not entirely easy bedfellows) and I could live without another Iraq war, but the country was arguably in a far better shape by and large.Would you rather have a centre left labour party in power, or a very left wing labour party in eternal opposition?
I just have one question, can they sink any lower today than yesterday? Is it even possible?
I have a good feeling about this. Pass the popcorn...I just have one question, can they sink any lower today than yesterday? Is it even possible?

You cant load questions then ask for reasoned debate, you are arguing in very poor faith. Far left? Give me a breakYe but that's not what I asked and realistically not gonna happen anytime soon is it. So when faced with the two choices there is an obvious answer.
I'll be brutally honest here, cuts were on the cards under Brown going into the 2010 election. I know the former chair of a Primary Care Trust (remember those? Before Lawnsley decided to create CCGs) who told me that all PCTs were being told to find significant savings without affecting front line services. It was apparently quite brutal, leading to a few resignations. I.e. to achieve the level of savings was not possible. My sister, neo-natal specialist, is always amazed at how little of the current NHS crisis is linked back to Osborne. It all starts with austerity, deliberate, calculated acts of cruelty.
I didn't say far left. I said very left wing, which is how I would describe Corbyn and I think he would say the same. How would you describe him?You cant load questions then ask for reasoned debate, you are arguing in very poor faith. Far left? Give me a break

Of course, Osbourne et al happily carried on that track and more. With particular zeal. And we've never recovered since.
It absolutely is a loaded question, would you rather jump off a bridge or have your legs chopped off? It's nonsense and targeting the wrong people.I didn't say far left. I said very left wing, which is how I would describe Corbyn and I think he would say the same. How would you describe him?
The question isn't loaded, it's the option between centre left in power or further left in opposition.
