Oh I'm almost sure they won't be. Levelling up seems to have been roundly ditched, especially given a decent number of the Truss brains trust have been public in their not giving two hoots about inequality since the mini budget.Yeah, unfortunately I'm not sure the academic and medical community will be listened to here.
Post-Covid there seemed to be some momentum on looking at health inequalities (tied to levelling up), but it looks like Truss et al will ditch it all.
Maybe they could have an arrangement where the top candidates rotate in and out of the PM's chair on a monthly basis in alphabetical order, the way the UN does it on the Security Council. It would be hard for such a musical chairs arrangement to do worse, and they might even strike gold eventually.Would it be possible for the Tories to have a weekly lack of leadership battle ? It's such fun while the Country is in tatters, pretty soon Ukraine will be looking like a holiday destination for us...
