The BBC is always left or right "controlled" depending on who you listen to.

The road to cancel culture started with Political Correctness that was pushed by the left. Soon as someone on TV makes the slightest inappropriate joke the reaction at home watching is always "oh he shouldn't have said that" "oh thats him in hot water" with before long said person is in hot water needing to either apologise or is cancelled.

Look at the situation with that grifter claiming that Royal arl bird had purposely offended her - the arl dear had to step down due to trial by mainstream & social media labelling her a racist .

The Left have opened the door to this nonsense and cannot get salty when a shyster Government starts using the tactic to its own agenda

Linekar isn’t left wing and this shouldn’t be framed as a 2 sides thing. He’s criticising government rhetoric regarding immigration which even any Tory should agree with.
