The Aston Villa Thread

Two previous semi finals were defeats against Palace and Olympiacos were defeats. Be criminal if they lose to Forest on Thursday.

Villa have done well since sacking Gerard, they really got their act together. It wasn’t that long before that , they were relegated and Villa Park wasn’t exactly packed .

I remember going there when Martinez was manager, we won and they were dreadful, plenty of empty seats , the rot had truly set in there but credit to them they got a good manager when they were around us near the bottom and bought well .

If Everton were to look at another club to replicate in terms of progress then Villa could be one of them.

Villa are a yo-yo club who'll always be a yo-yo club.

Villa is a major club. Winning the European Cup reflects their heritage.

Ha Ha Ha.

5 ties in a EC which had been devalued for years.

They won that cup against a load of tat. Bayern were a sent force by then too. We probably had a harder task winning the ECWC.

Winning the English title is infinitely harder.

Haven’t they won the league seven times?
