These wqere brushed aside by South Africa last year with some ease. For any of the pundits to suggest that the Aussies are just 'too good,' are kidding themselves, England are dog shyite. Finally get a couple of centurions and they get two of their own, three if you count smiths double ton.

England doing ok against a lucky Aussie outfit. Broard and Anderson remain a potent opening attack and Joe Root is a calculating, scheming captain. Fancy mighty Albion to retain the Ashes but they cannot let their guard drop, lest this journeyman Aussie team sneak an undeserved victory
You forgot to indicate the sarcastic font was in use

This is some of the most pathetic, help yourself buffet bowling I've ever seen. 82mph half volleys. Sums up the culture of the team, mentally weak losers.
they wanted choir boys and that's what they ended up with, the game was in the balance when it started on day 3, and we rocked up, thinking their batsman might just get bored, no plan at all no hostility no energy, it was meek and pathetic, time to gut this side of cook and his little crew, they can follow that lad bible following quitter swann out the door, the limited overs boys actually play with a bit of fight, they started afresh a few years ago with jimmy and the A team, time for the test team to do the same.

Aussie will win easily...England are bog average. Aussie have waaaay faster bowlers, and the best batsman (in Steve Smith) in the world...by a country mile.
We NZers extol Kane Williamson’s talent, England extol Joe Root, and India have Vihrat Kohli...but none of those are anything close to Steve Smith in scoring talent
in test cricket maybe, the other three are all format players

we had the chance to get jason gillespie in, strauss didn't want him, for a bit of balance though fabrace and bayliss did turn around the fortunes of the limited overs sides, having said that, after peter moores, bringing back ray illingworth would have been an improvement
If your bowlers are past it, the best coach can't turn back the clock.
Or with nearly 1000 runs on the board and only 14 wickets out of 40 down, its a batters pitch, maybe England will score loads for a draw

I did add for balance the work they have done in the limited overs sides, and englands test issues are highlighted by but certainly not limited to this game in perth, also, watch us crumble after the aussies bat fast for a session, and make this pancake look like Jamaica in the 90's

I fully expect the Aussies to attack us in the first hour and a bit, declare, then get our openers in for a nasty short session before lunch were the currently hapless Alastair Cook will fall.

We will probably lose all wickets before the end of the fourth day, the Ashes regained by that shower and with it an 8th successive test defeat Down Under. Even the England sides of the 90s never 'achieved' that having never lost more than two consecutive tests in Australia.

That all said, I hope I'm wrong. It's still a very good batting wicket and I will be staying up to watch the first session at least. Plenty of bevvies needed given the position we are in!

Going from 368/4 to only 403 all out instead of getting 550+ is surely is what will lose us this test match.

Showers today and tomorrow, our only hope.
