Me too. I thought what happened to Richards was egregious, wrong and a crime. So did everyone who read about it on this forum.
But I'm not talking about my own feelings towards it, I'm talking about the fact that you found Arbery's shoplifting charge from 3 years prior to his death worthy of comment in relation to his death, and not Richard Lee Richards' lengthy criminal history and actual threatening activity on the day.
We all know why you see both cases so differently. Hell, I think you genuinely believe you're not a racist, but you also believe that police were out to get you when you were arrested numerous times yourself.
You demand an impossible level of personal responsibility from a young black man out jogging and basically demand none from yourself or any other white people. When black people get shot, you will always believe its their fault, when white people get shot, it's the fault of the police or some "other". There's a term for people like you, apart from "impossibly stupid"
