I get this sentiment, but is it stopping mass shootings? Or should gays and kindergartners be packing at the schools and clubs?
Of course not. More guns isn't the answer.

I'm settled. Worried about the kids going that way. May need to start watching some of the '86 World Series with themI'm sure baseball allows such affairs. It's somewhere in the unwritten rule book, keep reading.
If Sandy Hook doesn't move the needle, I can't make any guesses what will
Not trying to be morbid, but I would guess that it would take something like a mass shooting in the Capitol while congress was in session.
Can't see that getting more public outcry than shooting a class of kindergartners, and their teacher hovering over them in a vain attempt to shield them. At least, I hope not.
Yep the shootings of little boys and girls, I can't see how someone can top that. If the sandy hook disgusting massacre does not change the policy nothing will. Can't see that getting more public outcry than shooting a class of kindergartners, and their teacher hovering over them in a vain attempt to shield them. Not from the public but it might change a few politicians minds, iirc there were one or two that changed their opinions on gun control for those with a history of mental illness in the wake of gongresswoman Giffords shooting. Can't see that getting more public outcry than shooting a class of kindergartners, and their teacher hovering over them in a vain attempt to shield them. Yes...but if lawmakers are personal witness to such a tragedy, I reckon they might stiffen their stance on gun laws.
with the reports now coming out that the shooter was gay himself it moves more towards a homophobic attack in my opinion.
