I'm in the city and genuinely thought it was fireworks till the cops turned up.
I was actually watching the final scene in Glory when it happened and joked with my wife about the chance that that could be gunshots!

Not sure how you have come to the conclusion i was taking a cheap shot at a poster who lives in the same area as myself. I am simply concerned and also interested because of my ties to those particular suburbs of Boston, thats it nothing more.
Now you're claiming i took a cheap shot at you, yet i will remind you that you twisted a question that was for another poster into something it wasn't. But this is your MO isn't it ?
