“The Norwegian man had flown to Pensacola, Florida where a friend picked him up at the airport and drove him to his father-in-law’s home. When he knocked on the backdoor, and then jumped out from behind some bushes to surprise his father-in-law, the elder man shot him in the chest at close range with a half-automatic pistol. The Norwegian died at the scene.”


The place is one big terrified gun toting basket case.

I don't know the full ins and outs to comment with authority, but could this be a predominantly black area that this occurred in? And if that is the case, if it happened in a predominantly white area would the police officer take the same actions?

If so the racial point could be valid.

Because it's so often an unarmed BLACK person shot by a WHITE copper that to suggest race isn't involved strains the credulity of people who choose to live a reality-based life.

Well, as 4/5 of the US police force is white, obviously most shootings are done by white police officers, some people just want to engineer a white on black issue which does race relations absolutely no good at all....

But only 13% of the population are black, do you think that only 1 in 8 of the victims are black or do you think it may be higher?
