Canada really is the only normal country in North America. By normal, I mean one where you can reasonably expect to wake up and not to get killed that day

12 gunshots on my street (about 6 doors up) on monday night.
No injuries thank God.
What gets me is that it barely made the news, no outrage, no nothing.
The cops don't know who did it. They were looking under our car! But we got no warning to stay indoors.
No police around on Tuesday or Wednesday.
People got more outraged when water was shut off the other week.
All very strange and unsettling.
