Strangely, it actually reinforces the argument that guns are the problem, because the political leanings of the person is irrelevant.

Mainly because any details had even been released the mentally challenged user base of Twitter had sprung into action about how another Trump supporting Fascist had killed people again. Y’know, without proof.
