Either way, concealed carry reciprocity and open carry are only relevant to discussion of gun crime in the sense that they pertain, at the highest level, to guns. In other words, they're almost completely irrelevant.

The reason behind which was exhibited by the very post I was responding to.

It's simply amazing to see an environment where it isn't viewed as intellectually dishonest to simultaneously claim the NRA is inflating fears while plenty of leftists are widely discussing bans on firearms. "It's not paranoia if they're actually out to get you."

When you come to the negotiating table with nothing but non-negotiables it's a waste of everyone's time. If compromise is a non-negotiable we end in war.

Oh, that's murder/crime of passion. I thought this would be 41.5 years for robbery with an unloaded/stolen pistol (obviously only a black teen, in that case). That's what American criminal justice was built upon.
