I know some of the victim's who survived and other victims family in the Vegas shooting have since changed their stance on guns. Including a couple of the artists performing for them.
I remember a parent from Sandyhook also changing his stance on guns too.
Ultimately i think a death very close too home is unfortunately the only way some will change their mind which is sad really
Teachers are some of the most stressed and ready to snap people in the country due to funding and workload. Arming them might be the stupidest idea ever.
Thank goodness but unfortunately quite likely that there will be an increased risk above and beyond the usual risk over the next couple of weeks.

There are now so many shootings in the United States that they eclipse one another, and some go completely unnoticed.
Fortunately, no one was killed. But it’s an incredible story involving heroism and police shooting the wrong man, so it’s a shame the media missed it.
Amarillo Police said the initial [call] came in around 8:54 a.m. and indicated there was an armed suspect inside who had 100 to 150 people held hostage in the chapel.
Sergeant Brent Barbee said officers entered the building when they encountered an individual who had a handgun.
“The officers fired shots that struck the man,” said Barbee. “After some additional investigation, they’ve learned that the man that [had] the gun may have taken the firearm away from the original suspect in the call. The man who originally had the gun has been taken into custody.”

There is no reason know earth why anybody (excluding farmers. .hunters .etc..) should need a gun... what possible reasons in the world do people need guns for. .. it will never change in America as there is no appetite for change. ..the simple yet sad truth.

First thing required is to ban organisations/lobbyists like the NRA donating money to senators and political parties. If they capped all campaigns to be under x amount of dollars then maybe you wouldn't get puppets for politicians.
Secondly, the second amendment would still be upheld if you allowed people the right to 6 shooters that you manually have to cock and reload, what you don't need is automatic (or semi) rifles/handguns. People can go to gun ranges/join the army and such like if they want to use weapons like that. Absolutely no need for these unless you wanted...I don't know...say shoot as may people as you can in the shortest amount of time...HELLO!!!

So crazy listening to conservative radio. Everything was about mental health. The AR-15 is being demonized.

There is only one hope and it lies with teenagers who are old enough to have a voice. Those kids from that school are as pissed off and are ready for a gun revolution.
Who knows if it will actually stick...I have my doubts...but they are all over social media as activists at the moment. Walkout planned next week. We'll see if it goes viral around the country.
