I was reading more along this line last night. The security implications...IT security has to assume there were foreign assets in the rioters. Everything "with a cord" will have to be assessed for listening/video devices - down to lamps and coffee pots. All computers completely broken down to look for malicious hardware and software, including the keyboard and mouse, on and on...

Worse is they do not restrict USB devices from being plugged in.

So anyone could have plugged in and copied data over.

You know why they allow devices because many of them complained about security restrictions. On both sides of the aisle too.

I know this as fact but will not say who told me of course.

You can take it if any of those intruders were savy they have whatever they need

The contrast of how the police dealt with peaceful BLM protest this summer it is very different on how they acted yesterday against these rioters. These people need to be charged otherwise we are giving a free pass for this type of insurrections to happen again in future elections.

The cells should be bursting with those who attacked Capitol Hill yesterday, and the tens of thousands more in the fascist militias (who the FBI, NSA and Homeland Security will have masses of info on) should be rounded up in detention centres and fast tracked through to long term sentences. Trump needs to removed and Emergency Powers invoked to get on top of the situation. They need to be smashed to pieces right now.

There's no time to allow that assault on democratic values to go unpunished. The US elite have to hit those people hard and get them out of the population. If they allow the usual slow turning wheels of the legal system to deal with this then that's as good as a green light to the fascists. They'll have won last night.
