I think there were a lot that were just understaffed and overwhelmed like this
But there is definitely some worrying support from some segments of law enforcement
I do. Although it’s not easy. Such a mad thing to die for. It’s extremely sad. She’ll have family and friends who’ll be in mourning now.
Photos of her dog on her timeline too, the poor thing won’t know why she isn’t there anymore.
If anything it’s more sad, as her death was based on lies perpetuated by rich people. All politicians will know the election wasn’t rigged but some keep plugging the idea to further their own agenda. These people and the likes of Alex Jones need to be held accountable.
Fair enough. If she has young kids, then this is simply tragic. Perhaps I'm a bit too jaded and angered this morning, and hopefully I'll come back to being a bit more human about all this.
I just don't get why though. They knew thousands of people were coming, they were explicitly told what their aim was.
It does honestly feel like because the crowd was white they felt no need to take it seriously.
I go through phases with these guys. Will probably be posting tomorrow that storming a government building with a load of armed nutjobs, is one of the dumbest things you can do.
Have to say, this must have been close to becoming a firefight. Can’t believe more people weren’t shot.
Not like there hasn’t been a history of right wing violence either - Proud Boys have run up a pretty large rap sheet alone. Right wing violence has been consistently rated as a the biggest domestic terrorist threat

How much cognitive dissonance can someone have to claim, entirely seriously, that they don't believe many people voted for Biden when they represent cops in a city that votes overwhelmingly Democrat? Its like someone saying they can't believe people eat fish on a trawler scooping up cod.

I would also bet good money that at some point he has said un-ironically “facts don’t care about your feelings”
