The contrast between BLM and these 'protests' is a terrible look for US police.

Absolute madness that there are those suggesting there is equivalence here.

Imagine BLM storming congress armed with weapons and laying seige with no repercussions whatsoever.

The difference is not just a disproportional response to "protests"

The setting and target of said "protests" is vastly different making the disproportional response even more staggering.

Even if the Republicans do “distance themselves” from Trump, if he isn’t impeached, what are the odds that he runs as an Indy in 2024.....?!

That’s probably a deal scenario for Democrats to be honest. He’ll split the vote between those that actually are traditional republicans and hate trump and his extremists. Easy path for whoever is on the dem ticket.
