I switched over to Fox for a couple minutes an hour or two ago to answer this exact question. They were talking to a group of people, and emphasizing how peaceful they all were. You could see the Capitol in the background, at least a mile away.

There was an election..I want to say it was a presidential one as well but I cant recall, one of the candidates got a non-insignificant number of votes whilst ACTUALLY in prison.
