DC has a curfew imposed. National Guard has been called in and according to our fave mod is under control of Virginia governor. Part of the issue is DC is a federal district and not in the control of any actual state. And the mayor has limited control to police federal sites.

Apparently Mayor Bowser and the DC police WILL BE cleaning up the capitol. when I grow up i want to be as a man half the woman that Mayor Bowser is.

Dude, a mob literally invaded the Capitol building, which has been closed off to the public for months, with the entire Legislative Branch inside. That’s not protest by any definition.
