Well this isn’t good
This won the internet today. BravoYou try way too hard to sound smart. Did you really think starting off a post on an internet fan site for football team with an abstruse quote from some book about Marie Antoinette would be useful?
I didn't miss the point. You posted a picture of a line for a food bank. Then you made an imputation about Trump voters being racist simpletons when in fact the tweet was about Trump voters, with the implication being that Trump continually undercuts food stamps for poor people. I simply pointed out that Democrats have a better track record on protecting the interests of the poor, on average, than Republicans. And Nancy Pelosi's freezer has about as much to do with it as the gold-leaf in Trump's penthouse. And then above, you responded that I missed the point because I was supposed to step inside the mind of some fictitious Trump voter who has a facebook page and a weaponized algorithm that causes even more disdain--if that's possible--for the elitist Democrats. And this response was replete with your typical long-winded, gee-ain't-I-clever text that isn't supported by good data.
You way overstate the divide between urban-rural and elites-poor and way overstate how many non-college educated voted for Trump versus Biden. You have ignored the black vote, of which Biden got 87% of the votes and of which some 40-60% do not have any college education. I'm not sure you can speak for black for black voters when you say "Voters without college degrees...would genuinely struggle to list a single way in which their lives will materially change after Joe Biden takes over." For this non-college educated segment, their voting record suggests it might.
And according to exit polls, Biden got 48% of non-college degreed voters to Trump's 50%. This doesn't square up with your "Democrats think they are dullard barbarian heathens who are responsible for what is wrong in America" assessment, complete with a bizarrely decontextualized link to Kendi's book whose target audience, as I'm sure you know, is not the average under-educated West Virginian, but in fact it is you, me, and other white privileged educated folks.
And obviously, West Virginia has gone Red over the last two decades, but Biden did better than Clinton in every country in WV, so I'm not sure that this type of directionality squares with your doom-and-gloom scenario of Democrats increasingly alienating rural areas. One would expect Biden to do worse if your prediction about trends was correct. Biden did better than Trump in shifting votes in more WV counties. This is to say Biden in 2020 out-performed Clinton in 2016 in more WV counties than Trump out-performed himself in 2016 versus 2020--Trump lost votes in many WV counties from 2016 to 2020. So again, I'm not so sure you can say either in WV or nationally that "they will lose every time." And your response above actually perpetuates a common elitist notion that there are no progressives out in the boonies--they're all just dumb simpletons who hate Democrats and love Republicans. This is just false.
As an intellectual topic, it's fine if you want to pursue all that is wrong with Democrats and their problems with voters who don't have college degrees. But I don't think this is as big of an issue as you claim. What would be more intellectually interesting would be an examination as to why Republican pundits love to play victim in claiming that the left is demonizing them as racists (similar to your claims), while at the same time remaining silent--like very palpable, crickets-chirping silent--on the the most destructive issue facing the Republican party: the easily documented hijacking of their party by huge numbers of outright racists. Or is this issue too complex for you?
I’m not sure how accurate or fair this is.Prosecuting your predecessor for how they conducted the job is what happens in banana republics.

You’ve got racist bigots on one side, and the other side using big tech to censor any opposition.
