Biden needs to make an example of him. No matter all his threats to cause mayhem and also run again in 2024. Get Trump in jail...and then Biden needs to turn his attention to Trump's paramilitary gang supporters and incarcerate them too...then he needs to jail those police officers involved and complicit with the right wing paramilitary gangs and generally he needs to de-politicise the police, many of whom have been identified with Trump.
Biden cant arse around here. What we've seen under Trump is the attempt at the creation of fascism. He and his cohorts need to be utterly pummelled - and be seen to be pummelled.

FFS Dave. Making an example of and imprisoning his political rivals? Jailing folks that haven't committed crimes? How does that make him better than Trump or Putin for that matter? You've fallen into Trump's spell that normalized such behavior from a president.
Biden needs to stay completely out of any legal precedings related to Trump or the previous admin. To get himself involved makes it political.
Police are under state/county/city jurisdiction. A president doesn't have any say - other than he could stop the military selling surplus equipment to police departments.

Trump has 2 pending cases, IRS and New York state tax fraud cases. Those will proceed without involvement from Biden.
There is also an issue with Scottland that looks more serious than I thought.
Then there are the 2 cases where many of Trump's camp were convicted. Trump just wasn't because of his position in the White House. That's the misuse of campaign funds in the stormy Daniel's case and the Russia probe. I am guessing Biden and his selected Attorney General can decide if they want to pursue that. Those are the only 2 cases where Biden might have a say

I completely agree Trump is in jeopardy via multiple jurisdictions and I hope it is all investigated to the fullest. I just don't want Biden, Pelosi, McConnell or any other person in a political position involved.
