All they care about is that Democrats are pro choice for women; therefore, Democrats are evil.

Pastors are also very corrupt and campaign for Republican candidates pretty hard. I feel that churches that endorse or get involved in politics should be stripped of their tax exempt status.

You can't claim separation of state and church and not pay taxes and at the same time actively influence church goes to vote for certain candidates.

This is one thing I find mind boggling. That entire plank of their platform is make sure the fetus successfully emerges from the birth canal, and from that moment forward, not give a f*** about it.

They literally take no other pro-life positions. Look at things such as paid maternity leave and subsidized child care that might not make an unplanned pregnancy a financial death sentence for many women? No thanks. Health care as fundamental right in a developed country? Of course not. Possibly make guns more difficult to acquire so children aren’t killed like livestock in our schools? You’ll pry my guns from my cold dead hands. Start viewing mental health issues, particularly depression, as actual medical conditions rather than personal weakness? Hahahahhahaha, not in a million years. Death penalty? Yes, please. I could go on.

Environmental control that could save millions? Nahh

Welfare programs for poor families? Nahh

They are also more pro war.

I know a fair amount of reasonable Republicans have resigned themselves to Trump’s defeat, but it’s still concerning that there is really anyone in the US that is willing to tolerate him throwing a tantrum that would be unbecoming of a ten year old in response to losing the election on the grounds of “he just needs some time to come to terms with it”. That’s simply an unacceptable temperament for someone with a nuclear arsenal at his disposal.
