At the end of the day, as much as I'm glad Biden won (because I don't think the world can take 4 more years of Trump) I do fear this is being seen as a much bigger achievement than it actually is. People are talking like Trump lost in a landslide and America's averted a disaster, but the fact is there are still 70 million people who voted for him, and they're really, really angry right now.

I'm pretty far-left but there definitely needs to be some work done across party lines for America to heal and move forward as a nation. I think, currently, that the Democrats aren't trying to make that happen, but I hope I'm wrong.

Plus, if the Republicans do keep control of the senate in January, it's going to be really hard for Biden to roll back anything Trump did without cross-party support. And as we've seen, Mitch McConnell is going to obstruct as much as possible.

It's a very precarious situation, to be honest.
