I'm confused over this story. Isn't that what they were doing anyway?
They all have to appear to be doing something and hold on to their jobs as long as possible. Though Barr is probably doing it with gusto the pathetic slug of a man
I think it will, in practical terms at least, once they are forced to accept that there's sod all to investigate.
I'm sure Trump and those most closely associated with him will keep pushing the line though. Trump's ego is too huge to accept that he lost fair and square.

Meanwhile, Justice Democrats and the Sunrise Movement commissioned an analysis of Democrats in swing districts who won and lost races, and it found that, in fact, supporters of Medicare for All did just fine relative to centrists. In fact, Democratic vote share declined for candidates the further they moved to the right.
Correlation =/= causality.
Most likely, the candidates that moved furthest right were running in comparatively conservative swing districts, and should be expected to get a lesser vote share.
Even if proper controls enabled us to conclude that ideology was causal, to my eyeball it likely had a very weak effect.

It shows there is no consistent correlation between 'progressive' rhetoric or fielding 'progressive' candidates in swing districts, and losing swing districts, contrary to what the Party is claiming in its eternal attempt to marginalise and shame the left.

Be clear - this is not a contested election. Biden’s margin in the states that swung the election is nearly three times what Trump’s was in 2016.
They’ve won 0 out of 10 court cases post-election, and even if they’d won ALL TEN, it wouldn’t have come close to overturning the election result.
