Not really. The country is split down the middle at nearly every election. People voting for Biden did not think he’s a socialist.

No of course not. However I'm not sure there's a lot of evidence to say they wouldn't have voted for him if he were. Most people voted for him because they disliked Trump. If you dislike Trump, I couldn't imagine you will be put off from voting for a more radical democratic candidate.
