....I wonder what the aftermath of this election will mean from a voting process perspective in the US. The turn-out is fantastic, I presume buoyed by the Covid surge in postal vote, but what will happen next time?

is part of the tradition and safety net that states continue to determine their own process or should there be more consistency via a federal approach?

Bottom line is, in a true democracy everybody’s vote should count. I’m encouraged by what I hear, e.g from the Republican managing the Pennsylvania count who despite the intervention and pressure from POTUS absolutely backed the integrity of that count. Good on him, it restores my faith in values and decency.

I'm not convinced about that tbh. In track 1 of Abelard's album, which he plays on repeat, there is truth in the idea that neither the Republicans or Democrats really understand a large chunk of the electorate. I think Sanders would have been far riskier than Biden if your priority was simply removing Trump from office, but he certainly had a chance
