It isn't really official for a couple weeks yet. The news networks attempt to project the winner and call each race beforehand. Or in the case of Wisconsin wait until they report all votes are counted. But either way nothing is actually official until the states certify it.

In the case of AZ some sources think it is too big a gap for Trump and are comfortable projecting Biden will win even before 100% is counted and some do not.

Even their daytime and early evening news coverage is pretty solid. The Anderson Cooper, Chris Cuomo, Don Lemon chain of shows does get aggressively more partisan as the night goes on.

Cooper is fine. Cuomo and Lemon are where they lose me and I change channels. CBS was ok last night.
